Two years ago this August we took a family trip to Washington state to show the kids Seattle, visit Olympic and Rainier National Parks. Upon leaving Olympic to head to Rainier we stopped at Cape Flattery (Makah Tribe) to take in the views at the most northwestern point of the lower contiguous United States. All of this time later I just noticed that I had captured a young bald eagle off the shore. In my defense, I did take over 2,000 photos on that trip.
